PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to § 233.190 RSMo, the Horseshoe Bend Special Road District #1 of Camden County, Missouri (the “District”), a political subdivision of the State of Missouri, is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following used equipment:

2014 International 7600 SFA 6x4 2010 w/12’ plow and spreader box VIN# 1HTGRSJT8EH778566

Complete specifications may be obtained from the District’s office at 134 Verbena Road, Lake Ozark, MO 65049, or by phone at (573) 365-2832.

Sealed bids shall be mailed, hand-delivered, or electronically delivered to the District’s office until 8:30 a.m. CST, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at which time bidding shall close and submitted bids will be publicly opened at 9:00 a.m. CST. Bids will be considered and acted upon at the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. CST.

Each bid shall:

1. State a single, definite dollar amount in U.S. currency representing the total purchase price; and
2. Be unconditional and not subject to contingencies, qualifications, escalation clauses, references to competing bids, financing conditions, inspection contingencies, or any other variable pricing mechanism; and
3. Comply strictly with all terms set forth in this Notice.

Any bid that is conditional, qualified, indeterminate as to price, or otherwise fails to state a fixed and certain amount shall be deemed nonresponsive and shall not be considered (e.g., nonresponsive bid = $1.00 more than the highest bid up to $15,000.00).

Award, if made, shall be to the highest responsive and responsible bidder, as determined by the Board of Commissioners in its discretion. Payment in certified funds shall be due within the time specified by the District, and removal of the equipment shall occur in accordance with District instructions.

The District expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive minor informalities or irregularities not affecting price, and to determine the responsiveness and responsibility of bidders in accordance with Missouri law.
